He has represented criminal defendants charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in the Rhode Island District and Superior Courts, Traffic Tribunal, and Massachusetts District Courts.

Education and Experience
Grasso is a magna cum laude graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law where he earned honors in Advanced Legal Writing, Military Law, Judicial Process and Ethics and Trial Advocacy. He has a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Studies from Roger Williams University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Providence College in 1988. In 2010, Grasso was sworn in as a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. Grasso was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Reserve and was honorably discharged at the rank of Captain.
Prior to law school, Grasso was a member of the Cranston Rhode Island Police Department where he served as a patrolman, member of the Department’s Special Reaction Team and Underwater Recovery Team. As a former police officer, Grasso understands the search and seizure issues that affect DUI arrests, and the process the police must follow to make a legal DUI stop and subsequent arrest.Grasso is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, Rhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and graduate of the National Criminal Defense College.
