International Bryant University student was accused of sexual assault after another student claimed he drugged her. Smithfield Police stepped in to investigate. Attorney Grasso worked with the student and his long-distance family to facilitate the police and university investigations. After a thorough consideration of the evidence, the police refused to charge and instead turned the investigation over to the Attorney General. Attorney Grasso and his client continued to cooperate with law enforcement officials. The case was closed without any criminal or university charges.
