“providence, R.I. — Adam Lake, 30, whose last known address was on Whittier Drive in Coventry, has been found guilty of molesting an 11-year-old girl, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Kilmartin announced Friday.
Associate Justice Judith Savage of Superior Court presided over the six-day trial. Lake has been held without bail at the Adult Correctional Institution since his arrest in July 2009.
The crimes happened in 2008 and 2009. The victim reported the molestation to a family member, who in turn reported it to the Providence police, Kilmartin said in a press release.
Sentencing is scheduled for March 19.”
